Hi,
so I have the built in MyListing taxonomy called “Regions” and have added terms in this format:
Country – State – Postal code & City
Germany – North Rhine-Westphalia – 50667 Cologne
for other countries without “states”…
Country – Postal code & City
Luxembourg – 7565 Mersch

How to show only the parent (country) in the preview card instead of full address or child term (city)?
Adding an extra listing field with country would be redundant data and to avoid.

That’s kinda difficult especially because the length varies, i.e. some countries dont have states.
What I would advice you is to create custom taxonomies using the mylisting functionality for that.
I would suggest to create 2/3 taxonomies:
- Country (you can also use the built-in Region for that)
- State
- City
