Hi there, I have encounted a curious problem – I was updating the comments.php file of the MyListing Child theme to make adjustments to the way that the comments section works, I removed the smiley face.
Comments.php updates not working within MyListing theme when this plugin is enabled, disabling it shows changes
When I disable the MyListing Toolkit plugin the comments.php in the Child file shows the change, however when I activate the plugin it reverts to the original comments.php settings
Is there any reason why this is happening? Thank you
That is true, the mylisting toolkit plugin copies over de comments.php file.
For now you can edit the plugin if you want to change how the comment section looks.
For the future I will see what is possible.
Thank you, where may I find the comments.php I cant see it in the Plugin folder?
Its `wp-content/plugins/ml-elementor-toolkit-pro/widgets/views/reviews-list.php`
However, if you only want to remove the smiley face, I suggest doing that with CSS
Thanks, can you expand on how would I do it with css?
I am having no luck finding the file to edit? Any insight?
